BLET Auxiliary
National 1st Vice President / National Outreach Coordinator

Hello, my name is Rachel Pharris. My husband, Brad Pharris hired out with BNSF in Memphis as a conductor in 2002 and now is an engineer out of Springfield, Mo, and a member of BLET Division 237.

In 2019 I became the founding member/President of BLET Auxiliary 417 also based in Springfield, Mo. Our auxiliary in Springfield has some amazing members and I am proud to call them my sisters. Uniting railroad families is a passion of mine and the auxiliary is the perfect organization to bring families together. Our auxiliary has had several successful fundraisers for local railroad families in need. We strive to grow our auxiliary, continue to fundraise and support each other in this sometimes-complicated lifestyle.

Brad and I have two daughters, Brynlee and Braley. Both are involved in softball and love being outdoors. I work part-time which allows me the flexibility needed as a railroad wife to run kids to and from school, sports, and other activities.

I look forward to not only serving the auxiliary at a local level but now at a national level.
